A design a day - 2nd March

2nd March.
Thinking about polypropylene.
A simple one today - but I have been thinking about the properties of semi-transparent polypropylene - you get a nice layering effect and it works better in simple colours. Computer based illustration.

A design a day - Day 1 - March 1st!

March 1st.
Well you have to start somewhere, and here's where I started. Two roosters :-) I am thinking about little European souvenrs at the moment - my dad used to bring them back from his travels. I can't find my original Portuguese rooster, so I have made some new ones. Cut paper.

Time to play

In March 2011 I'll be spending my days going on a different journey - creating one design each day and uploading it to this blog and my own website. I need to broaden my horizons and play around with new ideas and ways of working. I can't say yet what the work will be like (because I don't know) so come back and take a look if it takes your fancy :-)

Studio capers

With the festive season upon us we opened our studio to the public and held a grand launch eve followed by two weeks of 'open house' as part of the Hampshire County Council's making merry initiative. Thanks to all who came and to the Chronicle for publishing a great story about us all...
